Rock / Alternative. Trois mecs et une fille qui hantent les lieux les plus "exposés" comme les plus "invisibles": croisés dans la foule d'un café à Bordeaux, vus sur scène au Baron à Paris , jamais vu dans les Télérama/Inrocks/trax/ ... Le mot: "branché", tel que l' utilisait Jean François Bizot (Actuel/Nova-mag-radio) définit parfaitement ces 4 personnages à la dégaine sur-cool assumée donc énervante qui s'efface ou devient outrancière selon les morceaux joués, détruits ou magnifiés. Leur musique est donc pareille, il faut juste imaginer Screaming Lord Sutch en enfant de choeur dans une chorale gospel, qui chanterait du L.C.D soundsystem avec un python 357 dans le gosier et une guitare, fuzzée, bien entendu. ... à partir de là, vous êtes prêts à les aimer.

ANAVAN (Deathbomb Arc/Us)
Expérimentale / Electrique / Hardcore. L.A. trio ANAVAN first appeared in 2004, in the wake of the handful of percussion-centric bands who'd been stirring-up the underground for the previous couple of years. With their drum kit taking center-stage (and their helmet-mics firmly in place), I prematurely assumed at first sight that their sound would owe much to the likes of PINK AND BROWN and LIGHTNING BOLT. I was wrong. ANAVAN's empassioned, dare I say sexy, postpunk groove bypasses the cerebral yardwork of noise and pummel-rock, by aiming squarely on the listener's need to shake something. Free your mind and... well, you know the rest.

TELEVISED CRIMEWAVE (Uk)
Rock / Pop. When P.i.X favourites Black Wire unexpectedly split last year many suspected that we hadn’t heard the last of their members. They were soon proved right; new band Televised Crimewave count ex-Black Wire alumni Dan Wilson (vocals/guitar) and Tom Greatorex (Bass) amongst their number, alongside co-conspirators Rob Bootle and Bat Neck on guitar and drums respectively. With a series of well received myspace demo’s to their name P.i.X spoke with the boys ahead of their debut gig to find out more about the band and their ‘Ouija board garage pop’.
