Then Comes Silence land in Montreuil on September 14, 2026 at Le Chinois with a set rooted in post-punk, goth and darkwave. Founded in Stockholm in 2012 by bassist-singer Alex Svenson after long tours alongside A Place To Bury Strangers, the band channels a taste for horror and the occult into taut basslines, dry guitars and a nocturnal pulse. After an early run of three albums, Blood arrived on Nuclear Blast, then Machine and Hunger pushed a more direct sound, still anchored in the dark European lineage. The current lineup features Svenson, drummer Jonas Fransson (since 2015) and guitarist Hugo Zombie (ex-Los Carniceros del Norte, since 2018), a trio that keeps songs tight and efficient for the stage.

On the road, Then Comes Silence have shared stages with The Fields of the Nephilim and The Chameleons and appeared at scene staples like M’era Luna, Wave Gotik Treffen, Amphi or Castle Party, building a live identity that favors tension and immediacy. Years Of Shame joins the bill for a night of shadowy melodies and nervous rhythms.
