Pour marquer la sortie de "Sonic Youth Slept on My Floor, Manchester & More", l'autobiographie de Dave Haslam, DJ résident de l'Hacienda, La Machine du Moulin Rouge et le Bar à Bulles en partenariat avec Vinyl Factory présentent une conversation inédite et publique (en Anglais) entre Dave Haslam, Laurent Garnier (ayant fait ses débuts comme Dj à l'Hacienda en 1987) et Jean-Daniel Beauvallet (Les Inrocks).
Dave Haslam est journaliste depuis trente-cinq ans et Dj résident depuis le milieu des années 80 au club mythique de Manchester, l'Hacienda. Dans son nouveau livre, Dave Haslam raconte ses rencontres avec des personnalités inspirées telles que Morrissey, New Order, Neneh Cherry, Ian Brown, Tony Wilszon, David Byrne ou encore John Lydon Official.

Seront disponibles à la vente, le livre de Dave Haslam ainsi que l'autobiographie "Electrochoc" de Laurent Garnier. Ils seront tous deux présents pour une séance de dédicaces suite à cette rencontres. Retrouvez également une exposition d'artwork par Vinyl Factory (https://www.vinylfactory.fr/)

To mark the publication of Hacienda resident DJ Dave Haslam’s autobiography - entitled 'Sonic Youth Slept on My Floor; Music, Manchester & More' - La Machine du Moulin Rouge and Bar à Bulles in association with Vinyl Factory present a special onstage in-conversation (en Anglais) featuring Dave Haslam, Laurent Garnier (who made his debut as a DJ at the Hacienda in 1987), and Jean-Daniel Beauvallet (Les Inrocks).
Dave Haslam has been a journalist for thirty-five years and a resident DJ at the legendary Hacienda club in Manchester the mid-1980s onwards. In his new book, Dave documents encounters with inspiring characters including Morrissey, New Order, Neneh Cherry, Ian Brown, Tony Wilson, David Byrne and John Lydon Official.
Copies of Dave’s book, and also copies of Laurent’s autobiography ‘Electrochoc’ will be on sale at the venue. They will both be present for a signing session following the in-conversation. Featuring also an exhibition of artwork curated by https://www.vinylfactory.fr/
The evening will conclude with DJ sets from surprise guests.
