Le but du jeu est de reprendre exclusivement le répertoire du label Motown, en essayant de restituer le plus fidèlement possible l'esprit original (les membres du futur groupe ayant été fortement touchés par le film « Standing in the Shadows of Motown » - La Véritable Histoire de Motown en français).
