Little Red Door is celebrating the art of Jazz - à la française. The second installment of its live performance series features the electric sounds of seasoned Aussi jazz violinist George Washingmachine. A veteran of both the Conway Brothers Hiccup Orchestra and Edinburgh Jazz Festival, Washingmachine will be accompanied by noted musicians David Blenkhorn on guitar and Sebastien Girardot on double bass for an intimate live performance in the Haut-Marais’s hottest speakeasy-style cocktail bar. The trio will channel their backgrounds in classical music, rhythm and blues, New Orleans jazz, Creole jazz, and of course Washingmachine’s own signature blend of “string jazz” - infusing a classic jazz groove with a punch of eclectic energy. Entry to Jazz Nights at Little Red Door is free, on a first-come first-serve basis, with doors opening at 6:00pm and the live performance beginning at 6:30pm.
