→ MAGIC SHOPPE
(Psych, shoegaze - Little Cloud Records - Boston,USA)

«Hailing from Boston, Massachusetts, Magic Shoppe released “Wonderland” in October 2016. This release is a departure from their last release, Interstellar Car Crash, in that they’ve mostly abandoned the flowery side of psych for a darker, fuzzier corner of psych. The track “Head On the Floor” unleashes a shit load of reverb that never lets up. “Stars Explode” gives a nod to Raw Power era Iggy Pop (in the guitars at least). “Kill” ushers in a bit of Sonic Youth along with seriously trippy vocals, while “Hearing Voices” is only slightly less lethal and drugged out than its predecessor. By now, hookah pipes and bongs are in rotation as listeners are lost in the psyched out dreams induced by “Wonderland”. “Blowup” meshes BJM guitar with late 60s sonics, and backs away slightly from the noise fest on the previous tracks.

Magic Shoppe collectively create a swirling cacophony of modern day psychedelia intriguingly peppered with sonic atmospherics, fuzz, reverb drenched boy-girl harmonies and droning instrumentation.»

→ THE TOXICS
(Garage rock - Kizmiaz Records, Blast of Silence Records, Beast Records, Mono Mono Records - Helsinki, FIN)

«THE TOXICS have released one ten inch vinyl with France label Kizmiaz Records (2015) and last year they released their debut full length record with France label Beast Records (2017) Both releases have been mastered by Tim Warren from Cryp Records!

“After an EP from two years back and a few changes in their line-up the finnish garage rockers THE TOXICS comes out strong with their debut album. The backbone of the band is raunchy 60's protopunk and garage sounds full of evil distortion. The self-titled debut album is defined by hypnotically pounding drums, teasing, short guitar solos and vocals drenched in raw emotion. These crooked lovesongs are dedicated to cracked pavements, lightbulbs blinking for their lives, sticky floors of the seedy underground bars and for those who carry their dripping eyeliners, dancing, covered in sweat for the love of salvation that is rock n roll”».

Les 3 influences: Gun Club, The Stooges, The Oblivians

→ WILD CHILD CHARLIE

Les 3 influences: Lemon Twigs, Beatles, Doors
